2005 N6A Houston
Helmet was purchased new, and repainted at some point in time. Prep work was done with a wire wheel, as there was evidence of deep marks all over the helmet.
The lid also was used in training fires, which is a big no-no with leather helmets. It absolutely destroys them. This lid is a prime example - there was severe damage to the brim and lower areas of the dome.
Helmet was repainted in semi-gloss black
Repairs to brim and dome
The lid is ready to go back on the job now (just no training fires...)
